Koza Learning System

Koza Learning System is a unique curriculum designed to engage children with various games and activities targeting certain learning objectives. Regardless of the age of a child, there are levels of cognitive ability where kids progress through achieving tasks assigned to each level with the assistance of our staff. In most times, we play games, so their learning journey will be full of fun and entertaining activities.

Our incubation period is divided into two groups: Pre-school and Pre-master. Pre-school group has three stages from K6 (usually 3-4 years old) to K4 (usually 5-6 years old). Pre-master group has three stages from K3 (usually 6-7 years old) to K1 (usually 8-9 years old). Our Master group has three stages from M3 (usually 9-10 years old) to M1 (usually 11-12 years old).

Our free assessment session will introduce few tasks to your child to observe if average response can be achieved as in your child’s age group. Our objective is to avoid overwhelming tasks and stress as well as to present level-appropriate challenges to promote development. We also allow high-performing kids to progress faster. Sometimes a child may begin at an earlier level, catch up the average level in a year and even outperform and upgrade to the next level.

Koza Learning System focuses on underlying cognitive functions and their long-lasting features. The outcome of a learning program is usually observed on arithmetic skills or reading. However, our objective is to build a strong foundation behind these functional and observable skills which can boost the performance of your child through academic progress and even strecthing out the young adulhood. Developing cognitive functions need patience and gradual progress, so that, we call it the incubation period. Similar to incubation centres for start-up businesses, we create an ecosystem where your child eventually reaches to a tipping point and demonstrates talent ahead of the curve.

Sessions & Structure

Our sessions are usually 45 minutes. In the intensive program, your child may join two sessions in different days or time slots (also one after another).

Our maximum group size is four. In certain days and time slots, group size can be smaller, but it will never be more than four kids at a time.

Yes, we also offer private lessons. Please consult with intake assistant for scheduling and pricing.

We do not provide makeup lessons. If your child is sick, please inform the centre as soon as possible. We may find another time slot to catch up with the group depending on availability of our staff or a group with similar progress level.

Accoding to Federal and Provincial regulations, parents of children below 4 years old must attend or observe the session (as we are not a child care centre). Pre-schoolers will be hosted in our transparent (glass window) rooms where parents can observe their kids without attending in the room.

For children over 4 years old, parents are not required to attend sessions. They can drop off and pick up after sessions.
